Our Vote Counts

As I got out of the car this morning in the little town of Franklin Indiana, I thought to myself where is all the voters. There was no line outside the door
of the little firehouse. It was 6:58 a.m. and I walked toward the door.

I was fifth in line and my husband was directly behind me. I said a little prayer
and ask god to give us the kind of president that would help all the people in need at this particular time. And to give me strenght to vote for person that I had made
up my mine to vote for and still feel good about it after I left the fire house.

I must have made the choice that I thought was right; I felt good about my choice
marking the straight vote. How easy was that. What I don't feel good about is
the job losses, food prices, gas prices and our 401 profits at an all time high
or loss. Things have got to chance and I hope our country is going in the right
direction from all our votes today.

It's scary with all you hear about on the nightly news. So much to think about
so I took a walk last nite around our field to a fire place I saw comming from one of our neighbors house. The fire felt good and I visited with two their little
girls. I thought how sweet they are and they have know idea what is going on in this country call America.

I left a short time later and thought of my own grandchildren on the way home.
My hope is for them to have a better life than what is going on this last past 4 years. I hope that they will have homes, jobs and peace in American.

Just had to blog about this, this morning.............

Thank you Blossom for coming to visit me and for signing my guestbook. I will add you to my blog list if you don't mind. I have voted and next we should all pray for the poor man that has to try and fix this mess we're in. I think it is going to take a long time to dig us out of this mess we're in.

Hugs,
Chris
